Through Bright Horizons, Steptoe offers benefits to support your entire family. Rely on Bright Horizons for center-based or in-home back-up care during school holidays, snow days or any time regular care is unavailable.

You have access to 15 days of back-up care at subsidized rates. Center-based care will be $15 per child per day or $25 per family per day. All in-home care will be $6 per caregiver per hour (one caregiver can care for up to three care recipients at one time).

Through the program you have access to the following:

• Back-Up Child Care: Did a caregiver call out sick or go on vacation? Is school closed for a holiday or inclement weather? Bright Horizons can arrange high-quality back-up care for you to help keep your mind at ease.
• Back-Up Adult/Elder Care: Arrange back-up care for a parent or elder relative when normal care arrangements fall through or your caregiver is going on vacation.
• Ongoing Family Support: Need a night out of the house? Need full-time child care? Or someone to watch your pet while on vacation? Access a free, self-serve and self-pay comprehensive database of nannies, babysitters, pet sitters, dog walkers, and more.
• Overall Adult/Elder Care Support: Access support including certified adult/elder care advisors; a needs assessment to guide your search for care; specialized facilities including memory care, hospice care, and independent/assisted-living communities; and in-home healthcare and dependent care.
• Tutoring & Test Prep: Access exclusive discounts on tutoring and test prep services for children in grades K-12.
• Additional Resources: Visit the Family Resource Center to access webinars and useful information a variety of work, life, family, and educational topics.

Everbrook Academy daycare facility, located on the ground level of the 1330 DC office building, offers Steptoe staff, attorneys, and partners priority access to open spaces as well as the waitlist. Steptoe has reserved 5 non-age specific spaces.

• The center’s rights of priority will be:
• Sibling of Steptoe child already enrolled
• Sibling of general public child already enrolled
• Steptoe child (non-sibling)
• General public child

Steptoe offers Milk Stork benefits as a convenience to working-mothers who are breastfeeding; you can now get your breastmilk home to your child while on business travel for the firm. It allows working mothers to remain strong to their commitment to breastfeed as well as to their career. The program is simple to use and allows you to make the decision on ship or carry methods, how large of a package is needed, and comes with easy to use pre-labeled and post-paid package.
